I'm hoping that this new CGI remake of "The Lion King" will end the same way as the direct-to-DVD sequel "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride" with Simba and Scar ruling the pride lands together! I think Scar was evil on the outside because he was sad inside, since he thought Simba's birth meant he wouldn't stand a chance on being king, and, if Phyllis Smith plays Ursula in the live-action/CGI remake of "The Little Mermaid", that would show people that must be true!

This new CGI remake of "The Lion King" could be a Disney remake for my dad! He calls every real hyena Shenzi, Banzai & Ed, every real meerkat Timon, every real warthog Pumbaa and every real mandrill baboon Rafiki!

Oh yes! I am so ready when this comes out. I don't care that's the way they change scars look or the way they completely changed this movie. Because the producer that is making this had to get permission from Disney to make it so they have to make a few changes to it. And even if they do take out be prepared, the movie still is going to be good. I really don't care what people think. It's sometimes changes to movies are still good.

In the original film, all the characters were depicted with truly human emotions. The Lion King is not a realistic story about the life of lions; it's a fantasy in which "animals" represent human characters with human passions and emotions. Even though they are not depicted wearing clothes, they are obviously fairy-tale anthropomorphic creatures with all the characteristics of humans. In this new film, the characters are all depicted with maximum realism; thus, their "faces" don't show any human emotion. This completely defeats the idea of this story.
